Impact of Obesity and Lifestyle Behaviors on the Onset of Early Puberty in Female Children

Author(s) Dr. Swapnil Prabhakarrao Tinkhede
Country India
Abstract Early puberty in girls has become an increasingly observed phenomenon worldwide. Several environmental, nutritional, and lifestyle-related factors have been associated with this shift. This research paper examines the impact of childhood obesity and lifestyle behaviors—such as diet, physical activity, and screen time—on the onset of early puberty in female children. Through a cross-sectional approach supported by existing literature, this study highlights the biological mechanisms, patterns of association, and the importance of lifestyle modifications. The findings emphasize the need for early preventive strategies to promote healthy growth and delay abnormal pubertal onset.
