The Effects of Outsourcing Human Resources on the Performance of Organizations: An Examination of AirtelTigo Ghana Ltd.

Abstract This article offers a thorough analysis of how outsourcing HR functions influences organizational performance, featuring a case study on AirtelTigo Ghana Ltd., a prominent telecommunications company in West Africa. Amid growing competitive pressures and operational complexities, more organizations are utilizing HR outsourcing as a strategic approach to enhance efficiency and concentrate on core competencies. The research employs a convergent mixed-methods design, combining quantitative survey data from 108 employees—both in-house and outsourced—with qualitative insights gained from in-depth interviews with 10 HR managers and supervisors.
