Abstract The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) is a vast and intricate tapestry of intellectual, spiritual, and practical wisdom that has evolved over millennia. Rooted in ancient texts, oral traditions, and cultural practices, IKS encompasses diverse fields such as philosophy, science, mathematics, medicine, arts, and governance. Literature, as a cornerstone of IKS, has played a pivotal role in preserving, transmitting, and enriching this knowledge. The aim of this paper is to explore the profound connection between the Indian Knowledge System and its literary heritage, highlighting its relevance in contemporary times.
