| Abstract | In today’s digital economy, data has become a vital asset for organizations, yet many businesses struggle to transform data insights into actionable strategies. This study explores how organizations in the Hyderabad–Karnataka (HK) region converts data-driven insights into strategic decision-making and implementation. Adopting a mixed-method research design, primary data was collected from 84 respondents using a structured questionnaire, while secondary data was sourced from journals, reports, and company websites. Statistical techniques such as descriptive analysis, Cronbach’s alpha, and Pearson correlation were applied using SPSS to analyze relationships between fifteen independent variables (e.g., leadership support, data quality, employee literacy, and technological readiness) and strategic outcomes. The results revealed that leadership support for data use and data quality had the strongest positive correlations with strategic effectiveness and implementation success (r > 0.80, p < 0.001). Fourteen of the fifteen independent variables showed significant relationships with their respective dependent variables, while frequency of data-driven meetings did not significantly impact managerial confidence (r = 0.295, p = 0.080). The scale demonstrated excellent reliability with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.987. The findings highlight that leadership involvement, technological readiness, and workforce data literacy are critical enablers of data-driven strategy. This study provides practical implications for regional businesses, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach that integrates people, processes, and technology to bridge the gap between data insights and strategic action. |
