| Abstract | Numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the flow of a micropolar fluid past an infinite vertical plate. A finite difference method was utilized for the numerical analysis. The study considers the behavior of the micropolar fluid in two-dimensional, unsteady flow and obtains its non-similar solutions. Through standard transformations, non-similar forms of the momentum, angular momentum, and continuity equations are derived. These dimensionless equations are then solved numerically using the finite difference method. The influence of key parameters—such as velocity, micro-rotation, and spin gradient viscosity is examined and illustrated with graphs. |
