| Abstract | Diabetes mellitus in childhood is increasing globally and in India, with significant metabolic and systemic consequences. Hematologic alterations such as anemia, leukocytosis, and platelet abnormalities have been reported in diabetic populations, but limited data exist for indian children. Understanding hematologic changes and their association with glycemic control may help identify early complications and guide comprehensive pediatric diabetes management. |
| Keywords | To evaluate hematologic indices among diabetic children, compare them with healthy peers, and assess the correlation between HbA1c and hematologic parameters. |
