| Abstract | Equity, inclusion and accessibility are foundational principles for creating an effective education system. As global society become increasingly diverse, it is essential to ensure that all students regardless of their race, gender, socio-economic status, language or ability have equal opportunities to learn and thrive. Equity in education involves providing tailored resources and support to address systemic disparities and individual needs. Inclusion emphasizes the active participation of all learners in a respectful and supportive environment, where differences are valued and leveraged for collective growth. Accessibility focusses on removing physical, digital and pedagogical barriers that hinder participation and achievement, particularly for students with disabilities. Together these principles challenge traditional models of education that often marginalize vulnerable population. Implementing inclusive curricula, culturally responsive teaching and universal design for learning are among the key strategies to advance this agenda. Achieving true equity, inclusion and accessibility requires ongoing collaboration among educators, policymakers, communities and students themselves. It also demands critical reflection on institutional practices and policies to dismantle bias and promote fairness. Ultimately, fostering inclusive and accessible educational environment enriches learning for all and prepares students to engage in a diverse and interconnected world. |
