Right To Education: A Constitutional Social Justice And Check Against Privatisation Of Education

Author(s) Dr. Mrinalini Singh
Country India
Abstract Education under our legal system has been established as a fundamental right, directive principles of state policy and one of the fundamental duties for every Indian citizen under Part III, IV and IV-A of our Indian Constitution, respectively and is considered as a justice which is social in nature. But the privatisation of education and influx of private players in the education sector has considerably threatened the noble goal of providing education to poor and weaker sections of society by the State.
