| Abstract | Examination systems play a critical role in maintaining academic standards, yet the increasing digitization of assessment processes has raised serious concerns regarding data security, integrity, and transparency. Traditional examination management systems primarily depend on centralized databases, which are vulnerable to unauthorized modifications, data manipulation, and limited auditability. These challenges undermine stakeholder trust, particularly in large-scale examinations conducted by universities and public service institutions where sensitive academic information is handled. This research presents a blockchain-based examination management system designed to strengthen the reliability and accountability of assessment processes. By integrating Hyperledger Fabric with a web-based architecture, the system records cryptographic hashes of examination documents and evaluation results to create tamper-proof audit trails, while sensitive data remains securely stored in a conventional database. The proposed system demonstrates improved data integrity, enhanced transparency, and practical scalability with minimal overhead. The study highlights how blockchain technology can be effectively combined with existing examination infrastructures to build secure and trustworthy academic evaluation systems. |
