Author(s) Mr. Pruthviraj Bhimrao Kolhe, Prof. Dr. Purushottam Deshmukh

Abstract Financial literacy is more than just understanding money—it is about empowering individuals to make informed decisions that shape their future. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a city with a rich cultural heritage and growing economic activity, financial awareness plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between traditional practices and modern financial systems. This study explores how people in the region perceive savings, investments, credit, and digital finance, while highlighting the challenges of limited access, misconceptions, and socio economic barriers. By examining local initiatives, educational efforts, and community participation, the work emphasizes that financial literacy is not only about numbers but about building confidence, resilience, and sustainable growth. Ultimately, it argues that strengthening financial knowledge in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar can unlock opportunities, reduce inequality, and foster inclusive development.
