| Abstract | Getting fair chances for students with disabilities in higher education is still tough at Indian public universities. Even though rules like the NEP 2020, problems continue in campus design, learning help, along with tech preparedness. This study pulls together findings from various reports on including students with disabilities, pointing out gains made, hurdles faced, also ongoing unfair treatment within university setups. Research shows access isn't just one thing - it needs changes in buildings, teaching styles open to all, online tools usable by everyone. The article looks at how these areas connect while stressing that institutions must back universally design, adapt courses to include everyone, or use tech supports. It points out what rules and actions matter for state institutions aiming to build fair, learner-focused settings aware of disabilities. |
