A Study on the Impact of E-banking on Customer Satisfaction of Selected Public and Private Sector Banks in Madhya Pradesh

Abstract This study examines the impact of e-banking services on customer satisfaction in selected public and private sector banks in Madhya Pradesh. With the rapid adoption of digital banking, understanding the factors influencing customer satisfaction has become essential for maintaining competitiveness. The research focuses on key dimensions of e-banking and their effect on customer satisfaction. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire, and a stratified random sampling technique was employed. The data were analysed using appropriate statistical tools at a 5% level of significance and a 95% confidence level. The hypothesis testing results reveal a significant and strong positive relationship between e-banking services and customer satisfaction. Consequently, all alternative hypotheses proposed in the study were accepted.
