Abstract This research focuses on the importance of academic integrity, basically in legal research. The researcher should maintain the standards of transparancy, accoutability and honesty. It also discusses different types of plagiarism and also the consequences of any plagiarized work. This paper also provides certain recommendations to tackle these kinds of issues.
