Abstract Teachers’ psychological well-being is a crucial factor influencing their professional effectiveness and overall quality of teaching. The present study examines the role of psychological well-being in enhancing teachers’ professional effectiveness. Using a descriptive correlational research design, data were collected from 150 school teachers through standardized scales measuring psychological well-being and professional effectiveness. The results reveal a significant positive relationship between psychological well-being and professional effectiveness. Teachers with higher levels of psychological well-being demonstrate better classroom management, instructional competence, professional commitment, and interpersonal relationships. The findings highlight the need to promote teachers’ psychological well-being through supportive institutional policies and professional development programs to ensure effective teaching and sustainable educational outcomes.
