| Abstract | Gender equality has emerged as a central concern in contemporary education, particularly in the preparation of future teachers who play a decisive role in shaping social attitudes. The present study explores the effectiveness of an e-learning module in enhancing gender equality awareness among trainee teachers. Adopting an action research approach, the study employed a single-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample comprised 30 trainee teachers selected through purposive sampling from DIET Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. Data were collected using a structured gender equality awareness test, supported by interviews and classroom observation schedules. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean scores, gain scores, and a paired t-test, while qualitative data were interpreted descriptively. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores (t = 18.42, p < 0.01), clearly indicating the positive impact of the e-learning intervention. The study concludes that e-learning modules are effective pedagogical tools for promoting gender sensitivity and value-based education in teacher training institutions. |
