Voiceprint-Based Hardware Authentication System with Spoof Detection

Abstract This research proposes a voiceprint-based hardware authentication system with integrated spoof detection to counter replay and AI-generated voice attacks. The system employs a dual-stage framework combining MFCC-based speaker verification with deep learning–based spoof detection using convolutional and recurrent neural networks. Implemented on a microcontroller and Raspberry Pi edge platform, the system achieves low-latency, secure processing with authentication and spoof detection accuracies of 95.3% and 97.8%, respectively.
