Abstract Binge-Watching may be a relaxing and enjoyable activity as well as an obsession and a coping mechanism. People have a variety of reasons for Binge-Watching, including those that are social and cognitive in nature. Binge-Watching may have a maladaptive behavior orientation that could be identified as a behavioral addiction in certain mental health problem.
