| Abstract | The research issue was whether human resource management, total quality management, and good governance had an impact on service quality in private tertiary hospitals in Region XI using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research was based on a quantitative study; a non-experimental research design was used, and the methods of data collection and data analysis included a questionnaire, completed online via Google Forms, as well as such methods of data analysis as Pearson correlation, descriptive statistics, SEM, and multiple regression. The sampling method that was used was stratified random sampling. The results showed that the human resource management, total quality management, and good governance had a strong correlation with the quality of the service offered. Model 3 was the only model to meet all the SEM requirements and was considered the most suitable structural model among the models investigated. Model 3 also indicated that good governance mediated the relationship between service quality on the one hand and the direct impact of TQM and HRM on service quality on the other hand, since there was no direct impact on the service quality with respect to TQM or HRM. The findings imply the stance that the future plan of improving service delivery within the healthcare sector requires a good governance structure. |
