Abstract As modern technology persists in pushing beyond the boundaries of what is possible, forensic specialists encounter several obstacles that affect their work. This study explores the experiences and challenges of forensic specialists in forensic analysis and digital investigation, examining the advantages and disadvantages of modern technology and their coping strategies. This study focuses on police officers in Davao City, both male and female, who have served seven years in active service within the agency. The study employs a qualitative phenomenological approach, examining people's daily experiences without relying on researchers' preconceived notions about the phenomenon. This study utilized a purposive sampling technique. Thematic analysis was employed as the chosen qualitative data analysis approach. The study revealed a significant increase in accuracy in forensic analysis, enhancing evidence and case resolutions because of this modern technology. However, it raises concerns about the high cost of crime laboratory equipment and the importance of continuous training among forensic experts. This study examines the impact of modern technology on respondents' daily lives, addressing struggles and challenges and establishing awareness for authorities and agencies to develop effective strategies.
