| Abstract | One of the leading infectious diseases in the world, tuberculosis (TB) has serious public health ramifications, particularly in low- and middle-income nations. The global End TB Strategy highlights the importance of early detection and successful treatment, emphasizing that the key of lowering transmission and enhancing patient outcomes is universal access to a precise diagnostic tool. Molecular tools such as GeneXpert MTB/RIF offer improved accuracy but are costly. The Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (TB-LAMP) assay offers a promising alternative, balancing affordability, sensitivity, and ease of use. |
