Digital Transformation in the Insurance Sector: Induced Effects and Prospects for Development

Abstract	This article presents the operational and organizational changes affecting the insurance sector in Morocco. Digitalisation is a new way of modernising processes. Through a documentary research and a SWOT analysis, we explain the induced effects and prospects of the implementation of the digital transformation of the insurance sector in Morocco. We note that digital is an expectation of the high authorities, but a scourge for service providers who fear being replaced. Certainly we see a significant presence of service providers, who have a role in advising on the value chain. Today, a collective awareness is being forged on the digital transition that constitutes a challenge of this unprecedented transformation given the levers potentially generated. In this sense, the various stakeholders will have to accompany and take in hand the difficulties so that this transformation can be successful.
