| Abstract | While technical proficiency is a prerequisite for athletic success, the psychological makeup of an athlete often dictates the consistency of that success. This study examines the impact of a 16-week Psychological Skills Training (PST) program specifically on the "Mental Skill Variables" of male badminton players. By focusing on internal mechanisms such as arousal regulation, imagery, and self-confidence, the research aims to demonstrate how systematic mental conditioning transitions an athlete from coach-dependency to autonomous self-regulation. |
