Adversity Quotient as a Predictor of Academic Performance among Pre-University Students: A Pilot Study

Author(s) Prof. Roopashree Ramakrishna, Dr Prema R K Rajan
Country India
Abstract The present pilot study examines the relationship between Adversity Quotient and academic performance among Pre-University students. Academic success at the pre-university level is often influenced by psychological resilience in addition to cognitive factors. Adversity Quotient, which is viewed as an individual’s capacity to withstand and manage challenges, has been proposed as a possible predictor of performance outcomes. However, empirical evidence in adolescent academic populations remains modest.
