Abstract The Indian two-wheeler industry has experienced rapid growth due to increasing income levels, urbanisation, and the rising demand for affordable personal transportation. Motorcycles have become a preferred mode of transport, especially among youth and working professionals, because of their cost-effectiveness, fuel efficiency, and convenience in congested cities. Among leading manufacturers, Bajaj Auto has built a strong reputation through its popular Bajaj Pulsar range, known for performance, style, and reliability.
In cities like Bhilai, where personal mobility plays a crucial role in daily commuting, understanding customer preference and satisfaction towards Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles becomes important. This study is therefore undertaken to examine the factors influencing buying decisions and to assess the overall market position of Bajaj Pulsar in the region.
