Abstract The growing prominence of health and fitness has also produced a desire for intelligent, accessible, and affordable means for fitness management. This project outlines the design and development of a mobile fitness application that combines personalized diet and meal planning with guided exercises. It strives for a holistic approach to health and wellness by providing users with an interactive forum for health management. Users can create an account and personalize their fitness goals, record daily activities, and receive personalized diet and exercise recommendations based on their own health data (i.e. age, weight, height, etc., BMI), and many other personalized features. The application will also include a food database with nutritional values to assist with meal-planning and nutrition and organized, almost all-inclusive workout modules categorized in cardio, strength, yoga, and flexibility. Towards that end, programmed features will always allow users to record caloric intakes, monitor progress in graphical and report formats, and effects of reminders, motivation alerts, and tracking features are intended to involve users and promote continued goal pursuit and "workouts," because, even for short (15 minute) workouts, participants must commit to the workout. The features suggested in this project add to how we present our system because, unlike many current solutions, ours does not rely on potentially isolated solutions (i.e. eat, record exercise, track calories), towards the recommended, allowing for a cleaner, single-system user experience. In short, a digital fitness companion who supports users in pursuit of their fitness journeys. As public interest in diet, exercise, and overall lifestyle informs the health and fitness movement
