| Abstract | The critical study attempts to focus on the study of C.S Lewis’s Aslan in The Chronicles of Narnia series as the biblical Lion of Judah and thus to prove the Biblical significance of Aslan. It also highlights the comparison and focuses on the similarities between Aslan and the Lion of Judah. The study also depicts Christ himself being the Lion of Judah. Hence, the terms can be used interchangeably. The paper critically analyses the similarities between Aslan and the Lion of Judah and whether they can be both referred to as one and the same. Along with this, the paper gives a short summary and character sketch of all the seven books and the characters in the series The Chronicles of Narnia. Along with this, it also focuses on the author’s inspiration of producing such a wonderful series. |
