Chat-GPT: An AI Based Educational Revolution

Author(s) Mr. Danish Shabbir Shaikh, Shakila Siddavatam
Country India
Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) has long been studied as a transformative technology, but its recent advancements—particularly in natural language processing—have made it capable of reshaping education. Early AI systems like Eliza in the 1960s demonstrated the potential of conversational programs, though they were limited in scope. With the development of powerful neural networks and large language models (LLMs), tools such as ChatGPT now provide dynamic, interactive, and personalized learning experiences.
Traditional education often relies on fixed curricula, textbooks, and lectures, which struggle to keep pace with rapidly evolving fields like computer science. In contrast, ChatGPT offers instant feedback, tailored explanations, and continuously updated content. This makes it a disruptive force in higher education, opening opportunities for democratized access, flexible learning, and scalable instruction. At the same time, it raises concerns about reduced social interaction, weakened problem-solving skills, and overdependence on instant answers.
Thus, the background of this research lies in examining how ChatGPT, as a modern AI innovation, can revolutionize education while also posing challenges to creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. The study situates itself at the intersection of technological progress and pedagogical adaptation, aiming to explore how universities can integrate AI responsibly without losing the core values of learning.
