Automatic Leaf Disease Detection Using Convolutional Neural Networks

Abstract This paper explores the use of deep learning—specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs)—to automatically detect and classify diseases in plant leaves based on images. The goal is to help farmers and agronomists identify plant diseases early, which is essential for improving crop yields and reducing economic losses.Keywords: Lung cancer detection, Deep learning, Progressive Growing Channel Attentive Non-Local network (ProCAN), Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), Lung Segmentation, Class imbalance, Computed Tomography scan analysis, Channel attention mechanism.
