End-to-End Traceability Models from Tip Intake Through SAR Filing in Automated Compliance Systems

Author(s) Sriramakrishna Vadlamudi

Abstract Financial institutions are required to demonstrate that Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) decisions are supported by traceable investigative processes throughout the compliance lifecycle. This paper presents an end-to-end traceability model that connects tip intake, investigative analysis, supervisory review, and SAR submission within automated workflow environments. The proposed approach enables organizations to document investigative actions, analyst reasoning, policy evaluations, and supervisory approvals from intake through filing, thereby improving reporting consistency, auditability, and regulatory defensibility across enterprise AML compliance programs.
