| Abstract | The rapid growth of digital technologies in healthcare has created new opportunities to improve patient access, efficiency, and quality of medical services. This survey paper reviews recent research on AI-enabled healthcare systems, focusing on intelligent appointment scheduling, symptom-based chatbots, emergency assistance systems, and secure mobile health applications. The objective is to analyze existing approaches and understand how artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing help address common healthcare challenges such as patient no-shows, long waiting times, and limited accessibility. The survey examines studies related to AI-driven scheduling, chatbot-based patient interaction, multilingual healthcare applications, emergency response systems, and data security in mobile health platforms. The findings show that AI-based scheduling and reminder systems can reduce no-show rates, while chatbot-assisted symptom analysis improves patient engagement. However, challenges such as system integration, data privacy, and real-world implementation still remain. |
