Abstract Adolescence is a critical developmental stage characterized by rapid physical, emotional, and psychological changes. During this period, mental well-being plays an important role in shaping behavior, academic performance, and overall quality of life. However, increasing academic pressure, lifestyle changes, and reduced physical activity have contributed to rising mental health concerns among adolescents. Physical activity, particularly aerobic exercise, has been shown to positively influence psychological health by improving mood, reducing stress, and enhancing emotional stability. Despite this, limited research has focused on the effects of low-intensity aerobic exercise on the mental well-being of early adolescents. Therefore, the present study aims to examine the effect of structured low-intensity aerobic exercise on mental well-being among adolescents aged 10–14 years.
