Abstract This is a research on the relationship between childhood trauma and psychological resilience of teenagers in orphanages. The research was performed on 120 teenagers ages 14-17․The CTQ-28 and CD-RISC-10 were used in the current research. A comparison of the data of the participants revealed the following order, reporting the CTQ-28 [M=61.61, SD=11.40] followed by reporting the CD-RISC-10 [M=25.05, SD=6.24]. In the course of determining the certified relationship between childhood trauma and psychological resilience of teenagers who stayed in an orphanage, the Pearson correlation test was used. The study found a weak but positive relationship between childhood trauma and psychological resilience of orphanage teenagers, but it was not significant (r=. 144, p=. 118). The recent research depicted that childhood trauma in itself does not influence the psychological strength of orphanage adolescents. It can be considered that many other factors are significant to promote the psychological strength of teenage residents of orphanages. More studies on this topic and many other variables are required.
