Abstract Housewives caring for elderly in-laws often experience high role overload, anxiety, and stress due to balancing caregiving and household duties. These challenges can negatively impact their emotional well-being and coping ability. The Breathing–Thought Pairing Technique (BTPT), combining breathing exercises with positive thinking, offers a simple way to manage stress. This study explores its effectiveness in improving psychological well-being among caregivers.
