Abstract	As the demand for decentralized renewable energy grows, Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) have emerged as a viable solution for urban and residential environments due to their omnidirectional wind acceptance and low acoustic noise. This paper investigates the design, aerodynamic principles, and electrical generation mechanisms of VAWTs.
