Jr. Linguist: A Language Learning Mobile Application for Children

Abstract This paper presents Jr. Linguist, a mobile application developed to address language learning challenges faced by young children in India's multilingual environment. The application targets elementary-age learners seeking to develop competency in five prominent Indian regional languages through an interactive digital platform. Utilizing Flutter and Dart frameworks, the system integrates gamification principles with pedagogical approaches suited to early childhood language acquisition.
