Protective Sheet Covering for Plastic Chairs to Prevent Wall Paint Damage

Abstract This paper proposes a low-cost solution to prevent wall damage caused by plastic chairs in rental homes. A soft protective sheet made of materials like silicone or rubber is attached to the chair’s backrest to reduce friction and avoid scratches on painted walls. The study evaluates design, materials, and performance, showing that the solution is effective, affordable, and easy to implement on a large scale.
