Abstract Visual impairment limits independent navigation and safety. This paper proposes a low-cost assistive system using ESP32-CAM, Edge AI, and ultrasonic sensors for real-time object detection and guidance through audio feedback. Unlike expensive AR devices, it uses edge computing for fast, offline performance, improving mobility and independence for visually impaired users.
