Author(s) Dr. Rajashekar Reddy P, Venugopal G
Country India
Abstract This article examines how transformational leadership theory relates to Rahul Gandhi's leadership style, interpreting it through three notable Ithihasa characters—Arjuna, Yudhishthira, and Rama. By adopting a qualitative, theoretically grounded methodology, this study analyzed Rahul Gandhi's speeches, debates, and political campaign through the lens of transformational leadership theory and political theory from 2014 to 2025. The study suggests that the leadership qualities associated with Arjuna, Yudhishthira, and Rama in the Itihasas are reflected in Rahul Gandhi's leadership. This study is primarily theoretical and interpretative. Future studies can improve it by analyzing political speeches and public opinion surveys of the leaders. By combining modern leadership theory with the symbolic lessons from the Indian Ithihasas in a cross-cultural perspective, researchers can further study.
