Abstract The growing demand for environmentally sustainable nanomaterials has driven significant interest in green synthesis approaches that utilize plant-based extracts as reducing and stabilizing agents. Among various metal oxides, molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) has attracted attention due to its unique structural, optical, and catalytic properties, along with promising biological applications. Conventional synthesis methods often involve toxic chemicals and energy-intensive processes, limiting their eco-friendly applicability.

In this context, plant-mediated synthesis offers a cost-effective and sustainable alternative, where bioactive phytochemicals play a crucial role in nanoparticle formation and stabilization. However, controlling synthesis parameters, particularly precursor concentration, is essential to tailor the physicochemical properties and enhance the functional performance of the nanoparticles. Therefore, investigating the influence of precursor concentration on the structural characteristics and bioactivities of green-synthesized MoO₃ nanoparticles is of considerable scientific and practical importance.
