| Abstract | This study examines the role of packaging design in shaping customer's ’ perception of quality in skincare products. Packaging has evolved beyond its basic function of protection to become a key communication tool influencing customer behavior. The research is based on survey responses and a review of existing literature, highlighting how design elements such as color, material, typography, and sustainability cues impact customer trust and purchase decisions. The findings reveal that premium and well-designed packaging significantly enhances perceived product quality, while poor packaging reduces customer confidence. The study also emphasize the psychological aspects of packaging, where customer often rely on visual and tactile cues to judge product effectiveness before use. Overall, packaging design plays a crucial role in building brand image, influencing purchase intention, and shaping perceived quality in the skincare industry. |
