Personality Traits and Working Relationships among the Employees of a Public Secondary School

Abstract This study examined the relationship between the personality traits of New Washington National Comprehensive High School (NWNCHS) employees and the quality of their working relationships in terms of communication, trust, job performance, and leadership style. Using the Big Five Personality Traits as the framework, data were gathered through researcher-made questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and correlational methods. Results showed that employees exhibited High Agreeableness, Openness, Conscientiousness, and Extraversion, and only moderate Neuroticism.
