Emotional Intelligence and Self-Esteem Among College Students: A Correlational Study

| Abstract | The purpose of the study to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-esteem among students. The study was conducted on a sample of N=200 (100 male and 100 females) college students in Bhiwani. Participant’s responses were obtained on questionnaires, which measured emotional intelligence and self – esteem . Results indicated that emotional intelligence were significantly, positively correlated with their self- esteem and emotional intelligence significantly, positively correlated with coefficient of correlation 0.306**. |
