Abstract The significance of employee engagement has escalated amid the prevailing business landscape, often referred to as the VUCA environment. The attributes of the VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) environment necessitate enduring employee practices that foster heightened employee engagement. The objective of this study is to provide a theoretical framework that clarifies the connection between Psychological Capital and Employee Engagement within the context of Indian hotels operating in a VUCA environment.
