| Abstract | Fear of intimacy reflects discomfort with emotional closeness, vulnerability, and self-disclosure, while sexual arousal and desire are influenced by psychological, biological, and relational factors. This study examines their relationship among young adults aged 20–30 years using the Fear of Intimacy Scale (FIS) and the Sexual Arousal and Desire Inventory (SADI). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and correlation. The study offers insight into how emotional barriers may influence sexual motivation and functioning in young adulthood. |
