| Abstract | Somewhere between the packaging facility and the dinner table, a quiet but significant shift is beginning to happen. Edible packaging — wrappers, pods, and coatings made from materials safe enough to swallow — is slowly moving from the pages of food science journals into real consumer conversations. This study tries to understand where exactly those conversations stand: what people know about edible packaging, how they feel about it, and whether those feelings are strong enough to actually influence what ends up in their shopping basket. Primary data were gathered from 55 respondents through a structured digital survey. |
