| Abstract | Daiva Chandra Talukdar was not only a playwright, but also a poet, children's writer and novelist. There is no doubt that the playwright Talukdar, inspired by national consciousness, often looked at the ancient history of Assam and tried to re-embody its glorious aspects through theater literature. Talukdar was inspired by his deep passion and love for his country and nation to write the play 'Bhaskar Burma' This is the first and only Assamese play about the life of King Bhaskar Burma of the ancient Pragjyotishpur. |
