| Abstract | The globalization of education and workforce mobility has increased the need for efficient academic credential evaluation systems. Traditional evaluation methods are manual, time-consuming, and prone to inconsistencies due to differences in grading systems and academic structures across countries. This paper proposes an AI-based automation framework for academic credential evaluation that integrates Optical Character Recognition (OCR), machine learning, and rule-based equivalency mapping. The system automatically extracts data from academic documents, analyzes grading patterns, and generates standardized evaluation results. OCR is used to convert documents into machine-readable format, while machine learning models assist in identifying academic equivalency. The rule-based mapping ensures consistency with predefined educational standards. The proposed framework improves processing speed, reduces human error, and enhances scalability compared to traditional methods. The system provides a reliable and efficient solution for evaluating international academic credentials and can be applied in universities, recruitment systems, and immigration processes. |
