| Abstract | This study examined the factors affecting employee retention in bakeshops in Dapa, Surigao del Norte, focusing on compensation, work environment, supervision, career growth, work-life balance, and job security. A descriptive-quantitative design was used, with data gathered from 55 employees through a survey. Results showed that all factors influence retention, with work environment rated highest. Overall, retention is shaped by multiple interrelated factors, highlighting the need for comprehensive strategies to improve employee stability. |
