| Abstract | In today’s business environment, even the smallest ventures are feeling the impact of digital change. Micro-entrepreneurs—often working with limited resources but strong determination—are no longer competing only within their local markets. They are part of a wider, fast-moving digital economy where technology plays a crucial role in survival and growth. One of the most noticeable developments in this space is the increasing availability of Artificial Intelligence (AI). What was once considered complex and expensive is now becoming more accessible through simple tools that can assist with everyday business activities. From responding to customer queries to understanding buying patterns, AI is gradually finding its way into small business operations. However, this shift is not as smooth as it may seem. Many small business owners are unsure about where to begin, how much to invest, or whether these tools will truly make a difference. Concerns about cost, lack of technical knowledge, and fear of relying on unfamiliar systems often slow down adoption. As a result, there is a visible gap between what AI can offer and what is actually being used on the ground. This study is built around that gap. It looks at how micro-entrepreneurs can realistically make use of AI in their day-to-day business activities, not in theory, but in practice. By focusing on real experiences and challenges, the study aims to provide a clearer understanding of how technology can support small businesses in becoming more stable, responsive, and future-ready. |
