| Abstract | The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 represents a transformative framework aimed at redefining the Indian education system to meet the evolving demands of the 21st century. As the world enters an era shaped by rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence, digital connectivity, and global interdependence, the educational needs of Generation Alpha and the emerging Generation Beta require innovative, flexible, and future-oriented learning approaches. This paper explores the scope of NEP 2020 in addressing the cognitive, social, emotional, and technological learning requirements of these digitally native generations. Furthermore, the abstract analyses the opportunities and challenges in implementing NEP 2020, including digital divide, teacher preparedness, infrastructure limitations, and policy adaptation in rural and urban contexts. The study concludes that NEP 2020 has significant potential to create a learner-centered, technologically empowered, and globally competitive education system capable of nurturing the aspirations and abilities of future generations while preserving cultural and ethical values. |
